Apple Appearing at the Annual RSNA Conference

by , 3:25 PM EST, November 28th, 2006

From November 26th through December 1st, Apple will have a booth and showcase its technologies at the conference of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), at McCormick Place in Chicago. The focus of this conference is medical imaging for professionals, one of Apple's strengths.

About 65,000 radiologists and medical professionals attend this annual event, and Apple has had a booth at this event for many years. Apple considers this event a major professional conference because of their historical favor by and support for the medical sciences and scientific visualization.

TMO will provide additional information on Apple's presence at this conference in the coming days.

I saw a segment last night about research looking into tuning into to the sound cancer cells make when they splitting. It is different from the sound of healthy cells and they think that they will be able to help detect cancer earlier than they can using current technology.
