TMO at MWSF - There's Something in the Air (at Apple.com)

SAN FRANCISCO -- There's something in the air, according to Apple's Web site. The company is currently using its home page, one of the most visited Web pages on the Internet, to invite people to watch Steve Jobs's Macworld keynote, which takes place Tuesday in San Francisco, on Apple Web site. The phrase, "There's something in the air," is one the company is also using in its banners hung at Macworld.
Apple's home page is specifically inviting people to watch the keynote on Tuesday afternoon, though the event itself will take place Tuesday morning. Currently, there are no links in the large promotional spot, but look for something to be added sometime after the keynote is finished.
In the meanwhile, The Mac Observer is planning on offering our usual live coverage for the event, barring unforeseen technical issues.

Hope your predictions come true I'm coming to the US so I'll buy my new macbook then nice and light and "flash".....
Depending on the monetary exchange rate with your country you may save some money buying the MacBook here.
Usually Apple does not have the video of the Keynote available until the afternoon. I will rely on the MacObserver to provide coverage of the event.

Wow, I'm kind of suprised to see that no one had mentioned the 700 MHz wireless band bid. I mean what if this "Something in the air" thing is actually am announcment that Apple and Google have won the bid outright? Would that not be huge, huge news?!! Just imagine if that happens it will mean huge things for wireless comunications not just the iPhone. That seems more like something I could see them saying. There's something in the air... Guess what, Its Apple!!
What do you guys think?

There is a lot of interest here in the UK about what Steve will bring us today. My best guess is an ultra portable macbook and the Apple/Google alliance beginning to flex its muscle against the mobile phone companies in America and the development of a totally new way of interacting with media. Not just an Apple TV on steroids but a totally portable solution from iPhone to Apple TV via wireless networks all over the US and possibly a takeover of a major media company. Apple please buy EMI and put it out of its misery.
